For Christmas summer la Maison Alain FRANÇOIS offers you a recipe to prepare your mi-cuit Foie Gras that will delight the taste buds of your guests.

 

Ingredients for 6 people

  • 1 Duck Foie Gras extra Gourmet deveined Alain FRANÇOIS
  • 4 tablespoon of porto
  • 4 teaspoon of salt
  • ½ teaspoon of pepper
  • 1 pinch of sugar
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg nut

Step N° 1:

Coat the Foie Gras with the ingredients in an airtight container. Cover and place 24 hours in the refrigerator.

Step N° 2:

Transfer all on a food film and shape it in width of about 6 cm of diameter. Wrap in a cloth and tighten very hard. Close the ends with the food string to ensure no striking.

Step N° 3:

Immerse in boiling water and cut the fire. Let the Foie Gras immersed in water for 12 hours and then place it in the refrigerator for at least 48h before enjoying it.
